I inserted a new SIM card into a new phone and the SIM card has been updating for a long time - it's been over 20  minutes.  What is the problem?

you add new SIM card number in your account and not working

tried rebooting device, or check out your SIM number is right you insert.

Looks like a problem with your browser.

If it doesn’t update your SIM.

Clear your cache, cookies and go incognito on your browser.

Are you using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge or another browser?

HI @Terri2   What kind of new phone do you have?

 

there was another post long time ago about this , but more to do with an older type of phone

Try to put your Sim card in another phone if possible, your old phone, maybe

 

Also, have you request changing sim card yet on our My Account?  If you still have your old sim card, you can in fact put your old sim card into this new phone and leave the new sim card aside for use in the future
