I am trying to determine if the SIM card I have been provided by mobile phone seller is in fact a Public Plan SIM card   I am getting an error message when I try to swap to it

@georgeindia1

Try placing the SIM in your phone and on the top left of your phone will show Public Mobile when your turn your screen on.

If not, it will show the name of the SIM carrier.

What happens when you put it in and turn the phone on? Does it give any connection to anything? Can you scan for networks and pick each and see if it connects to any? It might not work but it might connect.

Or look in sim details like in a sim app or whatever to look for signs of where it's from. That would give you whether it's from the Telus family. Maybe provide an image of sim details except don't show the sim # or IMEI of thew phone.

Is it 19 digits? Anything else is not Public.
