SIM card stopped working

Hi,

 

I have been enjoying PM service so far.

 

However, my SIM card stopped working all of the sudden.

 

I have an unlocked IPhone 6 plus. After inserting the SIM into my new unlocked Lumia 650 phone,

the SIM stopped working.

 

I reinserted the SIM into other phones afterwards and the SIM did not work in any of them.

 

Can you rush the SIM card for me free of charge?

I recommend everyone have an extra sim, you ever know when you might have issues like this.

I would order a new Sim ASAP, just incase the sim is defective.

Yes, I have.

 

I used another PM sim in my Iphone 6 Plus and it worked well.

Did you try using a friend's SIM in your new phone?

The error message is "No SIM Inserted".

 

I cannot get any data, reception or send SMS.

 

I even uploaded new iOS update and it still has not fixed it .

 

Also, the SIM does not work in other unlocked phones.

 

Restarting the phone has not helped either.

I referred my friends and all of their phones are working.

 

I tried inserting the SIM into multiple phones and it does not work.

 

The service itself has been great so far.

This seems as the best solution.

 

I messaged one of the mods and started this thread. 

 

I will order the SIM and try to  get the refund for the SIM, since it is clearly faulty.

I have had my service stop a few times.... Sometimes data, sometimes data and calling, I've powered down my phone, and that seems to fix the issue.

Probably not your SIM. Seems to be a new bug that affects current customers: SERVICE JUST STOPS. Payment is up to date and  account may even say "Active". Robot Frustrated

 

Send a private message to any moderator with your phone number and a description of what has happened, but given their backlog it will likely be several days before they respond.

 

Meanwhile, if your service is down you can make phone calls with an application like that from fongo.com. It provides free calling across Canada from wherever you are connected to wifi.

I would buy a sim card for $5, and then ask for a refund, rather than waiting for a mod to get back to you (not sure the wait time), will be quicker, worst case you will be out $5,  best case they  refund you the $5.

 

I know @Shazia_K is online today, she might be able to offer some suggestions.
