Hi galaxy 17,
If you can get an IMEI by dialing *#06*, your SIM should be good. If you can't, your SIM may not be inserted correctly. Or it may be damaged. If you do get an IMEI, by turning off, then on, your phone should activate. Best of luck.

Hi mimmo,
I re-seated the SIM and booted my HTC One-V. It worked immediately. I am very pleased with the service at this early date. Thank you for your advice.

This is a strange outcome. I suggest sending a private message to the moderator team and have them investigate the activation. The moderator team can be reached via private message using this link. Refer to the following link for information on contacting the moderator team. Good luck and welcome to this service.

If your phone can read the IMEI using *#06# the SIM card should be compatible. In my case. I re-seated the SIM card, in the correct position of course, and then re-booted my phone. My HTC ONE-V works great!

Hi. I have a very similar issue. I received a SIM in the mail, followed activation yesterday and paid for a plan, the phone looks compatible (HTC 10) but says the SIM card does not allow to connect to this network (when manually forcing a connect to public mobile).
Any ideas? Cheers
