I ported my number after activation. The number was ported successfully. But my SIM still reports the old number.

I managed to fix the problem by removing the SIM, then reinstalling. That seemed to trigger phone to refresh info.
Strangely, reboot did not fix it.

If you ported your old number. It will show your old number on the PM SIM.
So what is your issue?
If you picked a new number…you don’t need to port your old number over to PM.
You can pick a new number 4 times/cycle on your account if you want a new number.
Just login to your account online or the PM app to change.

After restarting your phone if it's still not showing correctly can you confirm if you are able to call out, receive calls, send and receive text with the PM SIM

Most likely porting was not complete.
Try to reboot (turn off, wait, turn on) and select PM as provider.
