WELL! ChatGPT told me to try default PIN 0000 or 1234 and that worked. I now managed to change my SIM PIN after re-unlocking it with 1234. I hope this will help someone else! Probably the default PIN at public mobile.

Hi! So other day I didn’t understand what I was doing and in my iPhone Cellular settings I opened “SIM PIN” and thought it was asking me to create one but it was saying the number of attempts I failed LOL. And interpreted it as “Please confirm your PIN selection again.”
So it locked my SIM. Then I tried the PIN and got asked a PUK code and got it from an agent on here and got it fixed. But now I resetted my iPhone and when turned back on it said SIM locked. And it’s asking me to enter my SIM PIN which I don’t have setup or have forgot it. What am I supposed to do please?

Sorry found it. It’s in “Inbox” the little arrow pointing down then “sent” in the menu lolol
