I'm trying to register. Last night I almost reached Nirvana when the PM website apparently crashed. Today when I try to register it's saying my SIM card is invalid. I tried changing browsers and going incognito but neither worked. Maybe it's rejecting my registration because the info is in the system from the first failed attempt? Thanks.

@Frustrated3 since you have service now you can try doing a network reset on your phone. this might improve your reception. otherwise you could just have bad reception in the area you live in. not too sure what type of smartphone you have, but you can google this info online. you can also try manually selecting your network provider

@Frustrated3 wrote:Thanks everyone. My credit card was charged and I've tried everything that has been suggested. I've even getting messages from Public Mobile saying I'm in the US (I'm not). I still can't log in, so I've contacted the moderators. It looks like I might have service, but the signal is so weak that the call failed. I guess that's progress.
That's odd...are you near the US border ?

@Frustrated3 , usually SIM cards are session locked for about an hour for failed activations. However, if you proceed too far, there is no going back for retries. This may be the case here. One way to check is to see if the payment card has been charged. In any event, I suggest reaching out to the moderator team for support to complete the activation. The moderator team can be reached via private message using smartforms which is initiated by clicking on the ? on the lower right corner of the webpage or try using this link. The guided process will facilitate documentation of the issue or concern and the required resolution which will be submitted to the moderator team. Refer to this announcement link for additional details on smartforms and the ticketing system for moderator team interactions. If use of smartform brings no joy, then use the following direct link to private message the moderator team. Refer to the following knowledge base article for additional information on the moderator team.

@Frustrated3 if your credit card was charged, insert your SIM card and try logging into your self service account. If it wasn't, wait 1 hour from last attempt, clear your browser history, go to private/ incognito mode and try again to create your self service account.
Here's 3 articles on activation and porting and the Refer a friend reward if required:

2. How to port https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/choose-your-phone-number
3. Refer a friend https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/the-refer-a-friend-reward
Let us know if this doesn't work. Thanks. Stay safe.

If you made it to the payment section and made a payment...try putting the sim in your phone and see if it's working.
Log into My Account using the info you provided at sign up.

@Frustrated3 Test your SIM in your device to see if it connects to the PM network. If it does your card might already be activated. Let us know.

@Frustrated3 did you try logging in to the email you created with self serve? if you are able to login, it should let you finish the activation process.
