I recently helped a family member switch over to PM. I ran into a bit of a problem when trying to order her SIM card. The address field will start providing auto completed options as you try to type in the street address. Unfortunately it refused to accept her address (even though she has a fully valid address). To get around this I had the SIM sent to my address and then I mailed it to her after I received it. Is there no way to bypass the autocomplete address field so that an address can be manually entered instead?
In her case there was no option for her physical address or her PO box which is why I ended up just having the SIM sent to my address.

Hey @Up2NoGood
The address listed really doesn't mean much. You can put your address for now and then once everything is set up and their line is ready and set, they can log into the account and put their own address there. Super easy.
However, if you want to set it up faster, pick up a SIM card from here faster.
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM - Find a local store in your area.
Or find a Mobile Klinik near you. https://mobileklinik.ca/stores/
Amazon - Here you can get it faster if you have fast shipping!

Ah I didn't even think to look on Amazon, yes that would have been much faster and had it delivered right to her address instead. Thanks!

It's not a new address, she has lived there for about 10 years. Thanks for the information

hi @Up2NoGood
is that a new address in a new area?
you can help your friend with the sim card ordering, but I hope she won't get tht same address issue when she subscribe
it will be best if you can submit a ticket with O. agent and ask them to add the address I. the system so she won't run into that same issue when she subscribe
Submit ticket with Customer Support through Expert Messaging in one of these ways:
If you cannot access My Account/PM app, use this link: https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
please use the same Community account login you are using now to login and submit ticket

You need to ask PM to update an address to the system if you want. But honestly, it is faster and easier it buy the PM sim from Amazon, or in person from a Telus or Koodo or Mobile Klink store
