I purchased Canada / US unlimited minutes plan with 50 GB data. Should I have roaming enabled all the time, even if I am in Canada, or should I enable it only when traveling to the USA? Tia.

I've had my Data Roaming enabled since 2017 without any additional cost or surprised bills at month end. Turn it on and forget it.

hi @Buzz4Me PM and Telus use Bell towers without roaming anyway, this is a joint agreement
when you have no signal in some small part of Canada, like BC, it will roam in Rogers network, but just a specific selected are
generally, leaving roaming on wastes more power. I would leave it off

@Buzz4Me No you won’t be charged anything extra and Telus and bell are network partners anyways .

hi @Buzz4Me
you don't have to but it won't make a difference anyway
so you can leave it on or off of your choice

@Buzz4Me Won’t hurt to leave data roaming turned on in phone settings while in Canada as PM is pre paid and so you won’t be charged anything extra . But you do need it to be on when in the U.S.
