Roaming not working

I added a roaming add on 3 days ago. It keeps telling me, "no service". in the past it has worked for me, but now it doesn't. I have turned my phone off an on again. It gives me 1 bar on T-Mobile then it disappears and show no service. How can I get a refund for my roaming add on that doesn't work?

@rcmoodyx3 , the spotty connectivity could be due to specific location.  Are you in a major city or in a rural setting?

@rcmoodyx3   you can definitely ask for a refund or a reverse of the transaction and leave the money in the account for future usage

 

But first, which addon you have?  If it is just data or Data + Text (no voice), you can try to manually connect to AT&T as well

But if voice is part of the add-on  , you have to manually connect to T-Mobile and try to use it 2G +LTE network for voice and data 

 

Also, which state and city you are in?  You can try again in a different part of the city and see if it connects to T-Mobile

 

If that still does not work and you are going with the refund, please open ticket with PM support:

1. If you have access to My account: At https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", Then click "Other", then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" 

2. If you don't have access to My Account or have trouble with Chatbot: Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply you there

Most likely you will get less and less service in US due to shutdown of 3G network.

 

It does not hurt to ask for refund due to no service.

To contact CSA-agent, there are 2 methods:

If ticketing does not work very first time, contact agent directly.

Watch for envelope in top right corner. It will show Number of unread emails.
