Have this data plan that allows me to have access in Can, US and Mexico. Do I still have to turn on roaming on my phone?

Yes you need to enable data roaming and ensure you network selection is set to automatic. You're still roaming, even though it's included with your plan.
The roaming partners are AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
You also want to make sure you have a phone that is VoLTE compatible with Public Mobile, otherwise phone calls likely won't work in the US (text and data will be fine either way).

the Canada US Mexico plans allows you to use the voice text and data services in US and Mexico like you are in Canada. No other roaming add-on needed. You just need to turn on roaming on your phone
