@JoJo84 No you don't need to buy anything extra with that plan, with iPhone 13 it should work the same in both countries. You might get a text as the cross the border offering an add-on but just ignore it, it goes to everyone when they cross over.

Iphone 13 would work fine.

@JoJo84 No it's included, you just need to enable data roaming in your phone's settings. There's no extra charge. You do need a Public Mobile VoLTE approved phone for voice calls in the USA since they haven't had 3G there since 2022. What phone do you have?
