I'm going to be staying in South Korea for a while. I need access to my current phone number because some of my 2FA relies on it. Heck, even signing in to Public mobile (via Eversafe) requires 2FA which fires off an SMS to my phone.
From my basic research, Public Mobile does not currently support roaming in South Korea.
Any ideas how I can make this work?
Thank you,
Min

That is one major drawback for PM service. Lack of international roaming (besides USA and Mexico).
Some customers will forward their phone calls to Voip service like Fongo or Textnow. Others will keep the phone (even an older phone with your PM SIM card) in Canada plugged in and ask family member to read out the 2FA text.
While others had to leave PM for a higher tier mobile company like Telus or Koodo. Freedom has some decent international roaming plans also.

This could be a problem unfortunately. You could try to ask the individuals to send 2fa codes to your email instead, but I doubt they will. Or you could use try some form of an Authenticator app, if it will work.
