Freedom mobile also provides roaming in India, So shouldn't public mobile also start this in new year?

You have the option of starting a new Chatr account and get the roaming add-on if you wish.

Whether or not it's better than PM is a total judgement call.

I kinda like the voip option paired a local data plan actually. I do know that data is fairly cheap in most overseas countries.

In terms or roaming, YES.  Within the three Tier 3 providers, Chatr is the only one offers roaming for everywhere (most countries).  Lucky offers NO roaming at all., PM offers US roaming ONLY

But PM has Public Points for saving.  So, depends what you want

Nope.

If you will be in an area with wifi...consider downloading a free voip app like TextNow. Using your wifi or data, you'll be able to call and text most any Cdn or US phone number for free too.

Sorry, PM does NOT have roaming in India.   

PM only offers roaming for US
