I live in a border city, Windsor/Detroit, and my phone always goes to roaming. I usually catch it but how do you fix this problem ughhhh lol

Public Mobile customers are not supposed to be able to receive phone calls while romaing unless a roaming add-on is being subscribed to or unless the customers has a plan that incldues U.S. roaming.

I often visit Windsor to see family (I'm actually in Windsor right now) and I haven't noticed this issue with roaming. I was actually really surprised when I switched to PM and noticed that my phone rarely needed roaming enabled to keep its data connection.
I'm currently using a OnePlus 2 (A2005) phone. Others have suggested that including more information about your phone would be helpful. I would suggest using the "Check your phone's compatibility" tool at this link to see if your phone supports all or only some of the channels PM uses: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-started

When you phone goes in roaming, are you still able to receive calls?

@CCoupe85If you are not planning to go to the US, you can always manually set your provider to Public Mobile instead of allowing it to roam.
