Rewards not applied for recent referral

I just referred a freind who signed up and we were suppose to receive the 5.00 off discount each for 5 months but nothing has been applied to our accounts. Any idea how we are to proceed to receive this?

How long have you been with public mobile? If you joined before January 25th 2022 then you earn $$ rewards. If you joined on or after that date you earn points rewards. Point rewards customers do not have the ability to view their friend referrals in their rewards accounts (dumb eh?!!) Your only indication of a successful referral is recieving the "Cha-ching!" text from 611 at midnight eastern the day that referral activates their account.

 

If you earn $$ rewards then the $1 reward and last 4 digits of your referral's phone number will appear in your rewards account immediately after activation. The "Cha-ching!" text is recieved at midnight eastern the same day as well.

 

There has been a referral code glitch that despite being entered correctly upon activation the referral code does not register on the account thus the $10 bonus credit does not appear within the 72 hour time frame. Have your wife contact customer support with your referral code and your phone number so the CSA can confirm the correct referral code is being added to her account.

@Rose61  - well if that is the case, do you see the $1 under your My Rewards section and her 4 digit phone listed? At least this way you should know your referral code was used.

And she should have received the $10 in her available funds within 72 hours of activating. Did that happen?

 

Public Mobile Representatives customer support agents (CSA) can be contacted by either two methods, found here:

So the person who activated should be the one that submits the ticket to CSA to give them the referral code they used to activate and inquire about any missing rewards.

hi @Rose61 that referral bonus was expired on Jun 6th, if your friend just joined after 6th, you have missed the promotion...

@Rose61 hi that promo was over on the 6th it is only a 10 dollar referal now for the new account 1 dollar for the referee
