Referral program

Hi there!

I referred my sister and her husband to public mobile. They were paying a lot of money with their previous cell phone provider. I sent them the link and my sister said the link did not work so I gave them my code and apparently Public Mobile told her that it had to be used prior to signing up. This makes no sense as she said there was not area she could put the code in. 

I’m  pretty disappointed as I’ve promoted public mobile and can’t even get a few reward points for it like they said I would. It would also give my sister and brother in law $10 off for me referring them.

Has anyone else had any issues like this with the referral program?

tell THEM to contact the customer support agent team and they’d like to escalate to a senior agent for consideration.

This is not uncommon request, especially when there were issues entering the code upon activation.

Please know that the customer support agents will not accept any requests after the fact from the customer whose referral code was used, it must be received by the person activating who had issue using the code.

If they did not use referral code during sign up, they have to contact agent to add it manually.

Ticket has to be opened through chatbot - https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html

Just type ‘ticket’ and follow prompts. Having a ticket is preferred way to contact agent as they might respond faster then receiving personal mail.
