The 72 hour time frame is for the new customer to receive the $10 account credit.

so long as they activated using your exact referral code, and you were not within a couple days of your renewal, you would see it on your next renewal.
If you did not see it on your renewal, that most likely means they either did not use your referral code or they entered it incorrectly.
If they did not use a referral code, they would need to contact the customer support agents to have it applied.
If they mis-entered the referral code, and it was accepted on the activation, someone else has now benefitted from the referral and it cannot be changed.

Semi off topic but humorous... I have Jerry MaGuire SHOW ME THE MONEY clip in audio every time I get one of those Cha-Ching messages. I giggle each time.

Each situation will be different but I recievd mine within 30 minutes. But as someone said it can take up to 72 hours.

If someone used your referral code you will receive one point on your renewal date as long as that person you referred is still active.
