Hello,
I am trying to log into my banking website while abroad but my bank requires a code for sign in verification and it only sends the code by text message. Is there any way to receive a text to my phone while in Brazil?

As a last resort get a friend family member to buy a sim card some Telus and Koodos stores sell them still . Initiate a sim # change and once complete if sim is in a phone they can send you the verification codes.

@MKcellular as advised above, you won't get any text outside of US
Check with the bank to see if they can disable 2FA for now or change to other 2FA methods for you. Best to use Authenticator app or security key, email could be a temporary workaround if possible.

NO @Handy1 , agent cannot help. It is a system issue, user is abroad and PM does not have roaming service other than US. It is a known limitation

@MKcellular @I don’t know that answer but you can try this in the meantime
Contact an agent:

HI @MKcellular No you won't get the text unless you are in US
PM does not have roaming service in other countries other than US
You have to call the bank and see what they can do
