Same thing here. I just subscribed Public Mobile using eSIM and got this same message. How do I fix this?

Check APN:
Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data Network
PERSONAL HOTSPOT / APN : sp.mb.com
and Leave Username and Password blank.
