Hello Public Team,
I too would like to post my number to another provider. I realize you need an active account. My account xxxxxxxxxxxx expired 2-days ago and I would like to port my number to Bell. Is there away to do this without extra payment.
Additionally, I have a $10 voucher and I choose a cheap plan. It shows no payment is required but it did not activate my phone.
Please help, I need my phone up and running today.
Thanks,

@Lauro68 - you can only port an ACTIVE Public Mobile number to Bell.
If there is enough funds in your Available Balance to activate the plan, then you will need to go into your Self Serve account: https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/ and Reactive/Resume your plan.
Once your status is Active again, you will be able to proceed to port out to Bell.
EDIT: if you do have the Available Funds to renew/reactivate the plan, and it is still not activating, try listing your phone into the Lost/Stolen option; then go back and list it back as found.
Does that resume your account?

Sorry but unless you intend to port to koodo or telus you must have an active account. Choose the $15 plan and reactivate. Perhaps you should enjoy the holiday gifts and your pm service for another 25 days or so and then port out to bell.

Maybe one of you can edit the OP's post for them? Please and thank you.

@Lauro68 this is an open forum, you might want to remove your phone number from the post Click on the 3 dots to edit your post
As far as we know, you need an active number to port ... so, you can change your plan to $15 first and then reactivate for a month, this will be the cheapest way
