@Baird1972

Call the number I private messaged you to check on the status and complete the porting of your number.

Did you port Your phone number to PM ?  Is your Bell account still active ?  If it is try putting your Bell sim back in your phone.

@Baird1972

I will private message you the number to help with porting, if you've been without service for awhile after trying the above recommendations.

Hopefully you can use someone else's phone to call this number.

To check your private messages, look at the envelope icon between your avatar and the bell icon on the upper right.

@Baird1972

Is your phone locked? Contact your previous provider to unlock it for you. You will need your imei number, dial *#06# to get it.

Check if your phone is blacklisted here: https://www.devicecheck.ca/check-status-device-canada/

Did you port a number over to Public Mobile?

See helpful info. here: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/port-fraud-protection

OR, did you activate with a new number?

Sorry, there is no phone number to call. All supports is online.

@Baird1972

Is anything working?  Were you charged for your activation?  Are you able to access your self service account?  Are you able to call or text out?  Unable to receive?  More details would be helpful.

There is no phone number for customer service.  Public mobile customer service is online, ticketing and messaging system.

@Baird1972   did you request porting in of the number?

what is not working?

do you see the phone shows that it connect to the network at all?  Any error like SIM not provisioned, No Network?

Can you make outgoing calls?

Can you receive incoming calls?

is Mobile data working?

can you provide us more info?

@Baird1972

Try:

  • rebooting the phone,
  • toggling airplane mode on and off
  • resetting network connections,
  • removing SIM card and then reinserting it

If you completed the activation process and the amount was charged to your payment card, it could just be a matter of time.

EDIT:  during the porting process,   did you leave the old provider SIM card in your device to respond "yes" to authorize the port?
