Hi everyone,
I am interested in taking advantage of the current promo, but it seems like currently everybody is facing problems (porting, double charging…). Is the risk worth it? Any advice?
Also, I am currently with Koodo Prepaid, and I know porting between the two requires additional assistance. Would I need to activate a temp number and wait for a response from CS? Any idea how long that might take?
Thanks.
Monday
try reboot the phone and login to app again and see if you can complete the subscription
if not, ask PM support agent to help, you can submit ticket by direct message:

Remember CS_agent will reply to your Community inbox within 2 to 4 hours, please check your inbox here:

For eSIM, you can set one disable and enable another one. After all setup, keep Koodo enabled and disable PM esim so you can receive Koodo text. Once you replied, 1 to 4 hours later, the Koodo sim will not work, then disable it and enable PM sim back

Hi,
I am encountering issues on step 6 of activation in app; it says "something didn't go right". Messaged CS but messaging here just in case as well.
More importantly, I am also in a bit of a complex situation: I am planning to install two eSIMs on my iPhone 11 (I currently have a Koodo eSIM and I am planning to have a Public eSIM installed soon). However, I know two eSIMs can't be active (on) on an iPhone 11. Will this affect porting?
Thanks.

It's worth it for the short term of 2 years. A after that, you will be probably be stuck with a higher than you normally would paid bill and have to be scrambling again to switch or change. But if you don't mind that, then sure.
You can select the plan now and if it fails, then message them and get in line for the fix.
Yes, you need a temporary number first and regardless if it works or not, only agent can move you over due to prepaid process.
In my continued opinion, I would say you could be stuck for alteast 24 hours at minimum.

@OfficialDini The support team is pretty swamped right now and longer then normal wait times , it you might not have any issues activating account, but yes I think it’s worth it , even if you have to wait couple days before porting number over with help of support to save $ with public mobile
