Having major issues. I ordered a esim online in hopes of utilizing my dual sim phone. It didn't promp me to choose a phone number for the second sim.. they both show up as the same phone number. How do I assign a phone number for the second (esim) ? Thank you

you won't have any billing to that plan as you didn't actually activate it. You might have paid for the hard sim, but no plan costs until successfully activated.
added...so open old account and now order a free esim and active your second line.

I actually opened up another account last month, paid for a physical sim and service but sim didn't ever show up due to canada post strike.. that account won't let me move any further unless it is to activate the sim.. I'm throwing away money here..

As noted by @hairbag1, you need to open two separate account by using two separate email. Just logout of the first account then open a second account on the same app.

They are both showing up with the same phone number in phone settings. How do I change the esim to another phone number? No use both of them being the same. Appreciate the help. I'm lost here. This was my last hope after waiting over a month for a physical card that did not show up

in cellphone settings, you should see a primary line and a secondary line. One esim is primary, other esim will be secondary. Each esim will have a separate account number, phone number and each must have a unique email address.
