Public mobile is just pathetic

So I bought a sim card at a shop and signed up on the website. I entered my name, email, home address, credit card info, referral code, etc.

And when I look at my account today, the address is missing, so I type in my address again and click save. Public mobile's website says my address is invalid.

It is a real address, an ordinary residential building that was built in the 1940s. If you type the address in to Canada Post's website to find the postal code it comes up. It you type the address into google it comes up as you would expect. I tried the english and french versions of the address, but public mobile says the address is invalid.

So now I have to create a ticket to fix this.

I think these are the most incompetent IT systems I have ever seen.

@chrest3

try using 2nd St if Second St doesn't work.

Yes they are. But while the address doesn't matter as mentioned, it's an auto-complete not free form text. So type in your street address. Or if you have a unit # start with that. Then a - without spaces then the street address. As you type these it will try to find you. Then add the street name and it will continue to try to find you. You might need to do variations of the street name so that it can find that variation. Then hopefully it will fill in the rest as it finds you.

Address is not important at PM.
