Can't connect calls/ can't make outgoing calls

Data/text not working

 

Appears others in the GTA are having the same issues 

 

Any official update from Public mobile  ?

@mixxingh2  then PM supports are your friends.  Open ticket and please update us what PM support finds

But what is it showing on your phone? SOS? SIM not provisioned?  

And can you reboot the phone once again and keep a close eye to the phone?  See if the phone connects briefly and then disconnects.  Let us know

@mixxingh2  is the phone showing not connected to PM network at all? like SOS or no network?  And you check account status using Incognito mode?

if so, open ticket with PM support and have them to reprovision your account on the system

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply to you there

@mixxingh2 - what troubleshooting have you tried? Yes, there are some outages reported.

Try 1 or more of the below:

  • restart your phone
  • toggle into and out of airplane mode
  • perform a Reset of the device's Network Settings
  • move your sim card to another phone to see if services works
  • manually select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area in your settings (temporarily) to see if services work

which city and province you are in?

there has been some outage reported on the Community

Did you check if your account status is active?  To avoid browser cache confusing,  please login My account using Incognito mode to confirm account status

If it shows On Hold (Suspended) , then it is a payment issue.  Click "Pay Now and Resume Services" to make a manual payment 

If it shows active,

  • first try to reboot the phone
  • If that does not work, change the Preferred network type or network mode to 3G only or WCDMA only and see if it works
  • Try to click Reset All Networks and see if it helps
  • and do you have another phone to test the PM sim ? just to make sure it is not a device problem.  Also, that can force a sim card re-provision and it could resolve the problem
  • Also, try the phone in another area if possible, it could be just a local network outage
