Public SIM card

I registered with Public last night.  Inserted new Sim card ordered through public and it is not being recognized.  I checked the number inserted at registration and it's correct.  I restarted my phone.  I removed the sim card and reinserted and restarted phone...scrolling across top of phone screen..No SIM card emergency calls only.

Could it be that your cell phone is locked to previous network....https://www.cellphones.ca/cell-phones/p/is-your-phone-unlocked/

Is this a new phone also ? If it's a 2nd hand phone, could it be reported stolen or blacklisted.

@christine232

Do you have another phone you can test the Sim card in?

Did you actually activate your SIM?

Did you create self-serving account?

Can you log in to your PM account and see status of your account/plan?

Did your phone ever work with any SIM before?

Did you get phone as brand new or bought used (could be locked/blacklisted)?
