you can log in to your account to add the Alternate Number...but it's not really necessary. Any codes are only sent to your primary number or your email address.

Do as previously suggested and edit out that alternate phone number. You should NEVER provide that on any open forum as there could likely be a few recidivists in any forum. You liable to start getting many calls/texts to that number from your rich uncle in Ethiopia.

please remove  your phone number, we are just customers like you 

the alternate phone number when you setup is not to receive the code for activation

are you using the app ?  if you request porting , the code would be sent to your own number with the old carrier.  So, you need your old sim still active and working in a phone to receive the code
