Hi guy,
Few days ago I’ve received a msg from Public Mobile that I could switch my account to Koodo with a really good deal. I choose to do it but at the same time I also have a problem here. My account in Public Mobile deal 28th this month and I still have not received the SIM card from Koodo. That means I might have to lost my phone# and I would not able to use my phone# after 28th Aug. Moreover if I continually use this plan I have to pay for 3 month fee, that’s too much to me. Is there any way to help me to solve the problem? Thx!

I think @smp99's plan makes the most sense. Change your PM plan to the lowest priced plan that you can to tide you over. You will lose a bit of money, since you will only use it for part of the month, but this is necessary to keep your PM account active - You won't be able to port your PM number over unless your PM account remains active.

I would suggest you switch to the $10 public mobile plan now, or at least some other 30 day plan to get you through the 1st week of September. You do not want to let your account go into suspended mode. This will keep the plan going
Edit - When I say now - I mean set it up now to change to this $10 plan at your next renewal.

Don't just purchase a SIM card in store, have them activate the plan in store for you as well, that way you ensure your can get your plan and number ported no problem. There is an offer until today where you will be reimbursed for the $30 activation fee in your 2nd/3rd month of service.

I’ve done the online order already last week I’ve call Koodo’s stuff they said it will be arrived today but I still haven’t get it. I could go buy a SIM card but what am I going to do with the online shipping SIM card. Thank you for your reply.

Based on the OP, it looks like an online order has been placed and awaiting SIM card shipment.
I was under the impression that you are still able to get the plan in store as long as your SIM card has not been received and activated.

@Link, back in March I faced this very dilema with migrating a couple of my plans over. I left behind a little more than 2 months of service to migrate. Given the terms of service, there is little that can be done with stranded usage.
