Porting to PC mobile

Hello, I will be porting to PC mobile today. Any tips are all these old threads have been resolved any new issues this year that anyone can think of?

@softech I actually Ported back to Public Mobile within 24 hours still fighting with PC mobile to get money back. iPhones are not supported by PC mobile on top of that they charge me twice for $50 plan and now they’re refusing to give me any money back not even $50.

To port out, you start the process from your new provider

But first, make sure your PM account is currently active and you can receive text without problem.  Login to My Account and get the account number from Profile page https://myaccount.publicmobile.ca/en/account/my-profile

While you are at My account, you might want to also disable Pre-Authorized payment just in case.  

Go to Payment page, click Manage Subscription, then turn "Subscribed" to off

Keep both accounts active.
Keep PM SIM in your phone, reply YES within 90 minutes of receiving SMS from PM.
Confirm new service is working. Discard PM SIM as it cannot be reused.
