Porting number on weekend?

Im going to another carrier. If other carrier requests to port my number on a Saturday will PM do the port out on same day?

The customer will be leaving Public Mobile.  It's the other carrier that needs to handle any issues with the number porting.

It would be safer to port a few days earlier just in case there are problems with the port.  Easy to contact customer service agent, etc.

@Kfox  Unless there is is scheduled maintenance (which PM would announce in advance, and haven’t) there is no issue porting on weekends at all. Feel free to initiate the switch any day

Porting should take up to 2 hours to complete but remember to keep your account active and leave the PM SIM in your phone for the text from PM confirming you are porting out. You have 90 minutes to confirm with YES.
