Porting number issue

Hi, I got a text from PM saying that I entered the wrong ESN/MEID while transferring my number to PM. I have read some threads in the Community saying that there is a number I can call to re-activate the porting process. Can someone help? Thanks.

Unforutnatley, the text message from Public Mobile containts incorrect information. If you look for an ESN or MEID, you won't be able to find either because those aren't used.    It's the previously mentioned IMEI that can be used.  To make the correction, please open a ticket using the chatbot.

Sometimes, IMEI is the best identifier to use (when coming from specific carriers).  Also, some carriers make it so that you have to call them to get the account number (ex. Chatr).
