Hello, I submitted a port number request from Rogers. And while I can call out using my Public Mobile SIM and phone, any calls received are going to my old phone. Any advice on how long this might take before it's completed?

Continue to use your Roger SIM card until it stops working which is the indication that Rogers had released your number to PM. Then, start using your PM SIM card. Make sure to restart your phone with PM SIM card installed to initialize your phone for PM service.

CWTA says it should be complete within 2.5 hours, although it could be as little as one minute or could go past that 2.5 hours. Any much more than that from Rogers to Public Mobile would more likely to be a porting failure due to incorrect Rogers account information.

Roger's port should usually be completed within 1-2 hours. If more than one day, it is likely stuck and you will need to contact moderator.
You can continue to use your Roger's SIm card. If it suddenly stops working, that means the port is likely completed and you can try the PM SIM card.

@berdiemacleod6 usually just a few hours! You can try your old Sim card and use it until it stops working or just wait till you get the text from public mobile saying your port is complete!
