Hi!
Trying to port over my number from a Rogers Share Everything plan:
Prime - 85$/mth
Additional lines - 35$/mth (I have 2)
While I'm one of the additional lines, I am the authorized to move ANY of these accounts.
I'm having an issue trying to port over my line when trying to create my account. I wanted to port over my line first to 'test the waters' before eventually porting all of them over.
It could be that I'm having issues due to the promotion as well as it being a Sunday, but just wondering if you are able to port over ANY type of line from Rogers regardless if the plan is an individual plan, or a Share Everything plan.
Thanks!

So someone answered my ticket and advised that there was some missing information when they requested to do the port over. After they sent in the request, they said it could take up to 3hrs for the port to complete.
About 15mins later I got a txt advsing that my port was completed and welcome to PM! My wife called my phone to test it out and sure enough, it rang! I also tried a couple of txts (green ones) and they went through as well!
Very happy to be part of the PM family now. Looking forward to getting my SIMs so that I can port the rest of my family over.

Just read that it could take up to 72hrs for a full port. I'll be patient. 🙂
FYI, just tried again 18:30 and still not able to receive calls.

Think you're right. Just sent a couple of my friends some txts (ie green txt on iphone) and while they got them, when they send me a response, I don't see it.
Ah well, let's see what the CSR can do 🙂

Did some more looking and I'm wondering if the iPhone is automagically making my phone number my old one. Its displaying my porting number but so /shrug.

I think I've found the proper form. Its odd because I can phone w/ the new SIM and the call display comes up as my old (ie porting) number but I can't receive calls.
iMessage seems to work too...
Will update as I get in contact w/ PM CSR 🙂

So I went to 'My Account' and was successful in doing the port there (ie. Got the Porting Successful message). So I pop my PM SIM card back in and now I got this message
So I go to publicmobile.ca and click 'Contact Us' at the bottom of the home page and I don't see the part about the form...

Getting the 'Something went wrong' page after I go to my profile site and try to being the 'Port Number' request.
will try again soon...

I just did the same thing as you with Rogers share everything. I was authourized to port number but was a "secondary line" IF you want read this http://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Getting-Started/Are-you-new-to-PM/m-p/86046#U86046 that is my experience and what I found out reading and going through some issues here. I hope it helps if not we are here to help you as well

Any Rogers line may be ported. It's safer to pick a temporary number before porting; after you confirm PM service is functional log into your account and request the port-in.
Some posts to review: When to contact moderators Porting your number
Be prepared for couple days delay if anything goes awry.
BUT you can be confident it’s worth the wait for PM to resolve any problem. 😎
