Hi,
I’m a new customer and ported my number over to public mobile. I haven’t gotten the port request text message yet despite doing it 24 hours ago. I’ve created a ticket as well and that hasn’t done anything either. How do I get this up and running?

Make sure your old SIM card is still active and in your phone! My text came within a few minutes so something probably did go wrong. They should reply to your ticket soon, but in the meantime you can also contact your old carrier and ask if they got the port number request. That will help narrow down where it went wrong.

Is your old carrier SIM card still active?
What happens when you put your PM SIM card in the phone? If stuck port, you should be able to still have outgoing calls or text service. Just unable to receive calls and text.

@Thanushan I’ll private message you the porting team number . Give them a call and they can re trigger the port request for you
