I recently ported my number from Fido to Public Mobile without issue. I registered my SIM on Public Mobile and then left my Fido SIM card in my phone until I received the text from Fido confirming that I wanted to port my number over. I confirmed and then received a few other text messages confirming it was successful before I inserted my Public Mobile SIM card into my phone.

The good news: Numbers from Parry Sound can be ported to Public Mobile. Porting request are submitted by the customer. Please log into your Self Serve account (if you're already a Public Mobile customer) and use the change phone number option to send the request to Fido. If you're not yet a Public Mobile customer, the number porting request can be made during the activation process.
