Hi all,
Hope someone can help out here. I'm hiding issues porting my number over from Freedom Mobile. I initiated the transfer over 9 hours ago and have received the text from Freedom to release my number, to which I replied "YES". But my phone (am iPhone SE) does not appear to be on the Public Mobile Network yet. It says "SOS Only" in the top corner. I've tried rebooting many times, and I've opened a ticket, but nothing has helped and I haven't heard back yet. Any advice on what to do next? Is there a support number I can call?
Thanks.

So two days ago ended up activating a service with public mobile when you guys were offering the big promos ended up getting a temporary number ended up getting a hold of an agent yesterday through the porting department of Telus could’ve public mobile gave her the number that was associated with public mobile, she seen the account asked me questions and observed the account so I gave her my Rogers account number to bring in the number from Rogers over to public mobile she made the request manually and ended up getting the text message indication for the transfer of the number. I replied yes and then a minute after that I ended up getting a text message stating that Rogers has approved the transfer to the different carrier. I discussed it with her. She said yeah everything went through and stuff and then soon after that I ended up getting a text message from Telus stating that the number was successfully transferred over and I lost service with Rogers so I deleted the eSIM and uninstalled the eSIM with public mobile doing so the number still displays as the temporary number the number that I wanted is not being displayed as the number for public mobile I tried to call the number that was with Rogers and it comes up as that number is no longer in service so wondering, how do we retrieve it but where did my number go to and what happened

so I’m currently new to public mobile. I ended up contacting the number that the agent provided me which was the port in requirements one 800 number which is I guess Kudo Telus in public mobile. I talked to the agent and we ended up doing a manual port in from Rogers to public mobile. I gave her the account number as well as replied yes to the text message while she was on the phone and then after replying yes shortly after I received another text message from Rogers indicating that the approval of the number port in to a different carrier was successfully available. I lost service with Rogers and now using public mobile, but the number is still not swapped over it’s still the temporary number any solution to this

I had this issue too, but saw a new e-sim had been added labelled “business”
if you have an iphone, go check network settings and try to find if another esim has been added - simply activate it
