Moderators are available:

  • Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern time.
  • Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 7:30 PM Eastern time.

Actually...dig deeper 🙂

Their hours changed a while ago. They're now M-F 8am-00 (ET) and Sat-Sun 8am-10pm (ET).

Moderator wait time is 2 to 3 days.

Are you port a number from Koodo prepaid?

If yes, wait for moderator.

If no, you can login to your account and select 

[Plan and Add-Ons]--> [Change Phone Number] --> [Transfer a wireless or wireline number ] to port your Koodo postpaid number to PM.

I'm also trying to port a Kodoo number to PM.  I've sent a Private Message request with details of both accounts about 4 hours ago and am waiting for the @CS_Agent to reply.  How long does it normally take for them to get in touch?  Do they only work day job type hours?

create a Community account, and then send a private message to our Moderator Team here to complete the transfer to Public Mobile. 

 

I am looking to port my Koodo mobile number, under my name (Olivia Chubey): 780-686-8101. Please advise next steps. Prime Mobile number which was provided is 587-982-8600. Thanks

I have the same problem, I have Koodo prepaid number, and I sent a message to Moderator_Team a few minutes ago.

 

I hope I can transfer my number successful.

  • If you are transferring from a Koodo prepaid plan or a PC Mobile postpaid plan, you will need to select a new number at activation, create a Community account, and then send a private message to our Moderator Team here to complete the transfer to Public Mobile.
  • If you’ve waited more than 2 hours, and you’re still experiencing issues, you should contact our Moderator Team. Since you’re new to Public Mobile, this will be a 2-step process:
    • First, create a Community account here by selecting ‘Sign In’, then ‘New User? Register here.”
    • Then, send a private message to the Moderators by clicking here. Make sure you provide the number you are trying to transfer, and the port transfer request information you shared at activation.

If you were on a Koodo post paid plan then you can do the port on your own via self serve . The moderators are only required for Koodo prepaid plans.

@Carlduck  - once you are in communication with the moderator team, it shouldn't be long - probably minutes/hours.

If not then you should be able to do it yourself in the self-serve.
