Recently I ported my spouse to PM from telus but didn't see my code anywhere to receive my $1.00 off per month. What did I miss and how do I correct this.

It depends on what Reward system you are on. You will receive $1 or 1 point in your account in a day or so.
Also, you should get a text indicating: “Cha-ching! You just added to your Refer a Friend Reward-way to go! Keep referring to earn more. View your Reward” if referral code was entered correctly.
Your wife should see the $10 credit within 72 hours or 3 days.

are you on Points program or the older Rewards program ?
Log in to your account / My Rewards / Visit My Rewards / in Refer-a-friend look to the right to see Show Details. You should see a list of the numbers you have referred.
edited...I see now the OP needed to know how to find his referal code rather than anything else. my bad...again !

You can message customer service and tell them that you accidentally forgot to apply the referral code during sign up and ask them to apply it for you. The rewards will show on both accounts within 72 hours (1 point/$1 for you, $10 one time credit for your spouse)
