I activated a new phone with virgin mobile and I want my number I've been using with public but won't allow me to port it over why not?

I made my line very carefully
PM doesn't stop the number from porting out, just Bell cannot accept the number because they don't have service there, the issue is in Bell side and not a restriction on PM side

That can't be stated as an absolute certainty. While this isn't usually the case, there are times when an active Public Mobile cannot be ported to Virgin Mobile. This would occur if Virgin Mobile (Bell) doesn't offer its own for numbers for that same city.
