Points got deducted but didn't receive the reward offered

I was offered , on redemption of 1 point i will get 1 GB data in my account but i haven't received it yet.

My points 

what could be the reason.

I think you are referring to the free holiday gift offers from public mobile and for all of us on points rewards will also get 1GB free along with 2GB plus 500 international minutes.   There's no points to redeem for the 1GB but it's available in the rewards account and can be redeemed by selecting it.

I am not familiar with this offer, but check self service again, but clear your browser cache and open a new browser window in incognito when logging in.

Edit: click on the spinner icon in self service to refresh the page.
