If I get a new cell phone and end up needing a new SIM card will my account information stay the same or will my plan begin again resulting in me losing the loyalty rewards?

@JenL Everything will be exactly the same. Most likely you can just put your old sim into your new phone, however if you need a new sim....
Buy the new sim, log into self serve here https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/
Click Plans and Add-Ons
Click Change SIM card
Enter the new sim card number then hit submit
Insert new sim card into phone
Everything with your account will be the same. Same number, same rewards same plan, etc.
