Hi, I have been eyeing the 10$/month plan to get me started as this is my first phone plan, I was wondering why it says its limited time, does this mean that they can change the price at any given time?
Thanks for your replies

Hey @Newfiewoman64, you can future date the plan so you don't lose the rest of your current service, or you can choose to immediately update by paying $90 now.
Updating immediately is starting a new prepaid cycle. You will lose all remaining current services if you do this.

@Spellminer yes, but as with most things in life, there is no guarantee you can keep it forever and at the same price. You're safe for the forseeable future, even if they discontinue offering the plan. You will be grandfathered "indefinitely" but not necessarily forever. As noted, they can change the pricing by giving you 30 days notice.
EDIT: I just noticed you were concerned about the quality. Let me touch on that:
Public Mobile is owned and operated by Telus, and runs on Telus' network. You should get the same great coverage and network quality your friends and family on Telus or Koodo get, so ask around if you're concerned.
Do note that there is no contact centre to call into in the event you do run into issues. Support is done exclusively through the community (where we are now).

@Spellminer wrote:Thanks for everyone's help, I was talking about if you go to the custom pricing and chose 90 day renewal, it shows as 25$
The $25 is the base fee which can't be chosen as a stand-alone option - you will need to choose a minimum of one of the talk OR text OR data options on top of that to get a plan. Any combination of 2 or 3 choices gives you a bundle discount.

@Spellminer wrote:Alright, so your saying if I start paying it 25$/90 days I can keep that price for as long as I'm paying for it?
You began asking about the $10/ 30 day limited use plan, and now mention $25/90 days. There is NO plan that is $25 for 90 days. What is the plan you would like?

The pricing will stay the same for each of your renewals, until such time as Public Mobile provides you a MINIMUN of 30 days notice of pricing change, or if you allow your plan to go un-renewed for a period of 90 days.
The limited time offer working applies to only new activations - and the promo as it is, may be 'unoffered' at anytime. If you're on the plan, it will coninue as long as you keep paying for it. It will not just 'disappear' on you, if you keep paying for it.
Hope this helps .. the other posts above mine kept a few details out of their explaination, and I felt you need to know about the 90 expired warning. 🙂
Welcome to Public Mobile.

@Spellminer, That's sort of a yes and no. You can keep that plan as long as you stay on it. The price should stay the same, but Public mobile could increase the price some time in the future. However, It is unlikely to change any time soon. You will always get advanced notice if the price were to go up.

Yes, but Public Mobile has the right to change any of the terms of service, including rates, without notice as it outlined in Service Terms between You and Public Mobile . To read it: click here

Plan offers comes and goes, you sign up for it and keep as long as you want. Service is reliable.
EDIT: Don’t forget to include my number as referral, if interested, I will send it to you by private message.

See, the pricing is great, plan offerings is great, but I feel like it can't be too reliable if this is the case....

They may remove it and it won’t be available anymore!
