I was wondering if my plan restarted today and I wanted to change to a new plan, would the new plan start next month?

To add to @softech 's thought process that your renewal may be occurring overnight. If you are able to log into your self serve account and you check your payment history for your new 30 day cycle plan charges. If your plan payment has not yet been debited from your account balance or charged to your autopay card you could suspend your account via lost/stolen preventing your renewal from occurring (by blocking payment). Once the renewals complete you can resume via lost/stolen which will change your account status to suspended for nonpayment. At this point you can go to change plan and select the new plan to change immediately and you will be directed to your "cart" to submit payment and reactivate on the new plan. Caution: this will only work if your plan payment for renewal has not yet occurred.

You can schedule a future dated plan change for your next renewal. If you choose to change your plan today you will need to pay for the new plan with no Pro rating of your previous plan (not recommended unless urgently required)
* I am happy to help, but I am not a Customer Support Agent please do not include any personal info in a message to me. Click HERE to create a trouble ticket through SIMon the Chatbot *

If you schedule your plan change for your next renewal date. So yes.
It'll change next month and you won't be charged twice or forfeit any services.
Just don't change your plan , now or right away. Or you'll pay again right away, for the new plan.
