Plan Change promotion loss?

Looking to change plans from $19/1GB to $20/3GB but when I initiate the change I get this message: 

• Your new subscription will take effect on your next renewal date and you won’t be charged until then. This change replaces any other future-dated plan changes. After changing your plan, your current promotions will no longer be valid.

Does this mean I'll lose my holiday bonuses that are still on my account -- what are the 'current promotions' that will no longer be valid?

@Alicat27   No you won't lose your holiday bonuses, it means things like if a promotion plan offered 10% in points instead of 5%, or a third month free, things like that.
