I changed from esim to physical sim. How to activate it

PM self help features are great. However one has to take care and be careful before making any changes. I was a bit rash and after getting a promo text or email suggesting that I could switch to E-SIM I went ahead and did just that not realizing that my phone can only support one E-SIM . By doing that my existing main number with another provider was deleted . The PM. switch back to a physical sim was a snap - just did the switch on my account page - then rebooted my phone and all was well. However to reactivate my E-SIM with the other provider was a hassle. 
So if you made the switch just reboot your phone and all should be well.

If you have eSIM installed and want to switch to physical SIM card, you don't need to "activate" physical SIM card.  Just need to change  your SIM card number in your self service account.  Do not try to activate a new account with physical SIM card.

Once you change the SIM card number in your account, insert your physical SIM card in your phone.

You need to sign in to your account then go to the "Profile" section if you're on the website or the "Account" section if you're on the app and enter the new SIM card number to change it.
