Phones were working then quit after changing from Rogers to PM

Hi all, SORRY up front for the long winded message! I started by signing up my step mom with PM on Oct.04 with no issues. Account was created and asked for new number. I did not provide an alternate contact number. Also I did nothing with our existing Roger's account and it is active. Oct.05 bought two sims and started with my phone. Created account, and asked for new numbers. Everything worked perfectly and was fast. After having read posts on porting, I changed my number to my old Rogers number which I do not want to lose. I waited for awhile and voila, I received the text and everything worked. I made a call and called my phone from my wifes phone (still on Rogers) and sent/received texts to ensure everything was working. So after this success, I changed my step mom's number to her old Roger's number. The only differance was I added my cell number as an alternate contact. I again received the text message and figured everything was fine. I then created a new account for my wife and things worked fine....thought I was on a roll lol! After everything seemed like it was set-up I went to use my phone and it did not work, it is now set up as my step moms phone as when you call her number it rings on my phone and I have not changed any sim cards around...bizzar. When trying to call my old Rogers number it now says no longer in service...I really do not want to lose this number. My step mom's phone is working but with the new number assigned when the account was created on Oct.04. My wife's phone is her number but when you call it rings and when she answers she cannot hear me talking. Also, when you text her it will only work using the new number assigned when creating er account. So right now the only phone that works is my Step mom's but with here new number and even though her number was ported, it was ported to my phone. Again the only thin different was I used my number on both theor accounts as the alternate contact...I logged into my Rogers account and the numbers for my wife, step mother and myself are no longer there and there is a message indicating they can not provide data useage. I have contacted the moderators but thought someone else may have experienced a similar event. Thanks in advance for any support.

I am replying to say that the issues have been fixed. These issues were caused by me and not PM. I set up three accounts for my family on my computer and ported my step moms number over top my number because I did it from my account and not hers and in turn my number disappeared...bad on me. Thanks to the Moderator who helped me she was great in getting multiple issues fixed....and in under a day.

After porting her number, I did wait (as recommended by prior posts) and she received the message to her phone from PM ((400 500-0205) that "your transfer request has been completed successfully". So I thought everything worked fine....but no luck. You can only text her using the new number assigned when setting up her account...wierd, will wait for moderator help.

Probably a coincidence.  Maybe your wife's port might still happen.  Sometimes can take up to 24 hours.  Try to reboot your wife's phone every few hours today and the port might complete by itself without moderator help.  

 

Your phone's issue definitely needs moderator help.

Unfortunately I am not very smart. When I took out the Rogers sims, I wrote on them to identify who's was who's. I did try both my wife's and mine and they are no longer recognized...maybe a coincidence or possibly this is part of the issue I am having!

Lol, thanks...yes quite a story. We are trying to laugh it off but it is our only form of communication so are hoping to get things sorted soon.

Your wife's phone port is stuck and incomplete.  Need moderator help to complete port.  Does her Roger's SIM card still work?

 

For some reason, your step mother's Rogers number was ported to your SIM card.  That should not have happened.  Your Roger's phone number is temporary "gone."  Again, need moderator help.  

 

Moderator wait times are 1-2 days, so hopefully, you will get a response soon.

Can you try the old sim cards? Do any of them work?

You should contact moderators about it

You should do this from each one of the accounts you created.

@bgdkmckayThere had been a few instances of people having simliar problems than you do. However do note we are all just normal Public Mobile users here and the moderators are the Public Mobile employees who can actually intervene on your behalf. I would suggest just wait for their response.
