This morning I signed in two times before I could get into my account. Are two complete sign-ins normal procedure? This has happened to me in the past and I thought it was me making an error but that was not the case this morming. wheni say sign-in that means I am entering my password, getting a code and entering that, waiting for the circles to stop moving and the screen changing to my sign-in page again. Quite time consuming and very frustrating.
Also, once I was in My Account and trying to figure out my Redemptions it shut down on me and my sign-in page came up again. I had to re sign-in, including entering the code and then had to select My account and go into Redemptions all over again and find the spot I was working on. IS THIS NORMAL? I was actively on my screen, with less than one minute with not using the mouse.

hi @Janey21 nothing to do with tuur password but the cache and Trusted device settings
There are many background refresh and also many server access even on one page as there are different sections/ components on the page. Turning those on (cache and Trusted) would help.

Hey @Janey21
This could be a number of reasons. Public Mobile's front end server has a set time limit. When you come to the site, a cookie is downloaded to your computer which also has a time out which I'd have to figure it out by reading it. My suggestion here, if you don't wish to use the Remember Me option for security, try going into your browser settings and I only know how to do this on Google Chrome so..... fingers crossed you're using it.
Go to the 3 dots in the top right corner. Then go to Settings. Then to Privacy and Security on the left side. Then Third party cookies. Then scroll down to See all site data and permissions. Look for publicmobile.ca and click on the garbage can. This will delete all their cookies. Then restart your browser (make sure it's all closed and there are no windows left open elsewhere). Then restart your browser and go to the website and log in.
See if that clears the issue about being kicked out and having to log back in within minutes. This is my my thought on what's happening. It may be just a bad non responsive cookie.

I am not talking about signing in once. I have to sign-in two times, one after the other - TWO TIMES to get on. This morning once i was on and studying the page it flipped back to sign-in page again. HAVING TO SIGN-IN TWO TIMES HAPPENS TO ME QUITE OFTEN. I THOUGHT IT HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH MY PASSWORD OR BECAUSE I WAS USING MY PHONE BUT THIS MORNING I AM ON MY DESKTOP AND IT HAPPENED.

hi @Janey21 auto login on app needs Trusted device to be checked too. And with the app,it still pass the login to your default browser, so your default browser must not have clear cache on exit

I have the app and the auto log in doesn't always work

hi @colleeno with today's phone use, always use screen lock for safety

I have found that installing the Public Mobile app on my phone is less frustrating because it automatically logs me in each time. Of course, it’s not a good idea for those who don’t use a screen lock on their device.

hi @Janey21 if you don't use Remember me or Trusted device them yes, it is normal that you will have to put in password all the time. you need to allow cache so the browser can remember the login

What a ruddy waster of time!!!! I have struggled with this for a year and thought it was me making mistakes!@
I don't use "Remember Me" for security reasons. I typically use my phone to access PM and have this problem and Yes, I use the app on my phone. but today I am using my desktop and had this problem.

@Janey21 unfortunately, this is normal 😕.

hi @Janey21 you clicked Remember this device?
but thos happens sometimes
And what browser you use? Even with app, you have to make sure the default browser does not hand clear cache on exit enabled
