After you've secured another device:

  1. Get SIM card

Try a corporate TELUS, Koodo, or Mobile Klinik location Mobile Klinik locations

Alternatively, if in the GTA, there’s Canadiancellsupplies

Contact them in advance to ensure they have PM SIM cards in stock.

  2. Changing SIM card

In order to change the SIM card associated with your account, you must now verify your request through a one-time security code that will be sent via SMS or email.  To change your SIM card, please follow the below steps:

    1. Log into your My Account
    2. Go to Plan and Add-Ons > Change SIM Card
    3. Enter your new SIM card number
    4. Select where you would like your 6-digit security verification code to be sent to. You can choose to have the code sent to your email, or via SMS to your phone number. If you do not have access to your phone or cannot receive SMS, please select the email option.
    5. Check your email or phone for your security code, and input the code into the page
    6. Click “Verify Code”

Please note: after 5 failed attempts to verify your security code, your account will be locked, and you will need to have your account unlocked and your SIM card manually updated by an agent by submitting a ticket.

    1.   Once you have verified your code, click “submit” to complete your SIM card change.

couple things you should do

Try to "find" your phone to remote wipe

Apple: https://www.apple.com/ca/icloud/find-my/

                 (how to use: https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/find-a-lost-iphone)
Google: https://myaccount.google.com/find-your-phone

Samsung: https://findmymobile.samsung.com/

Buy a new sim card and tie your number to the new sim card

Get a sim card from local Telus or Koodo store or get it from Amazon:

https://www.amazon.ca/Public-Mobile-Card-Unlocked-Phones/dp/B07R6P5KBB/ref=sr_1_1?crid=19D8TVC97YAAZ...

(Please note if you order the sim from PM online, it could take long to deliver, as many as 3 weeks)

Once you got the sim card, go to My Account  from ONLY a desktop or laptop computer to request Change Sim card (please note that due to some glitches, accessing change sim care from mobile phone or tablet won't work)

After you logged in, unsuspend first if you have suspended your service earlier.

Then click Quick Links on the top right and select Change Sim card and follow the steps:
