Phone stopped working even though my plan has funds and setup for autopay. Very frustrating as there's no support.

I’m new to public mobile. I understand your concern because I ran into an issue I couldn’t resolve on my own. But I looked through the website menus and learned you can get agent support for issues of a more complicated nature by submitting a ticket from here https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/send-us 

 

I was actually surprised at how responsive they were and how quickly they were able to resolve my issue.

HI @Amandeepcheema and @kidsndog   , which area you are at?  I think there are multiple posts about service issue today

 

You also tried to reboot your phone? How about changing it to 3G ONLY or WCDMA ONLY?

My phone stopped working as well, with no payment issues or outages reported in my area. Extremely frustrating!

@Amandeepcheema  Hihave you try to login to My Account and confirm if your account status is Active or Suspended?

@Amandeepcheema   Did autopay fail if it was your renewal (occasionally it fails).  Log into your account and either try the Reactivate option if you see it top right of overview page or select the Payment tab and make a payment by choosing Amount Due or Other.  One may work better than the other and then log out and reboot the phone.

 

If you are on the discontinued $10 plan, then it's possible that you need to add another $3 to top up your account as that plan had a price hike of 30% effective 28th April.

 

If you didn't receive a notice about the price increase which many received a couple of months ago but also others received no warning, then submit a ticket to complain to customer support via chatbot here:  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
